This is a 22-year-old Inchgower, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2018 by Douglas Laing in its Old Particular range. It matured in a sherry butt and is bottled at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle, from a run of 610 bottles. Inchgower stands near Buckie in Banffshire, and its water comes from springs in the Menduff Hills. Most of what the distillery makes goes into blends such as Bell's, White Horse and Johnnie Walker, and only about 1% is released as single malt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
