Inchgower – 1997-2020 23 Years Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection (70cl, 59.5%)

An Inchgower single cask malt, selected and bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection at 59.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 24 April 1997 and bottled on 31 August 2020, producing 690 bottles. The whisky matured in a bourbon hogshead, then spent 34 months finishing in a fresh sherry butt. The nose is complex, with apple pie, cinnamon, vanilla, pastry and wood. The palate has an oily texture, warm pastry, vanilla, rye, orange and a light spiciness. The finish is medium in length, with chocolate, toffee and vanilla.
