Inchgower 1997 is a 27 year old Speyside single malt, selected and bottled by Thompson Bros at 52.3%. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in November 2024, in an edition of 406 bottles.
The whisky matured in two refill hogsheads. The nose brings salted almond croissants, marshmallow and pineapple, with nutmeg, walnut and ginger. The palate is oily and rich, with banana bread, candied pineapple, hazelnut, lime and cashew. The finish is long and elegant, with marmalade and a salty edge.
