This Inchgower was distilled in 1998 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It is a Speyside single malt at 46%, with a fruity, slightly briny, spicy character.
It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose offers stewed orchard fruits, citrus peel, honey, coastal freshness and soft spice. On the palate are pear, apple compote, marmalade, vanilla, barley sugar and a salty sea-breeze note, with gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warming, with citrus, malt and pepper.
