A 26-year-old Inchgower distilled in 1998 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes from a refill sherry butt and is bottled at cask strength, 54.8%.
Inchgower stands near Buckie in Banffshire and draws its water from springs in the Menduff Hills. Most of its spirit goes into blends such as Bell's, White Horse and Johnnie Walker, and only about 1% is released as single malt.
