This is a 15-year-old Inchgower single malt from Speyside, distilled in March 2009 and bottled in April 2024 by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular range. It is bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a single sherry butt and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration, in a run of 264 bottles. Inchgower was founded in 1871 and rebuilt in 1966, and stands near Buckie on the Moray Firth coast. The nose opens with fresh red fruits, delicate milk chocolate and spicy ginger. The palate shows a rich sherry influence, with mouthcoating caramel, malted barley and stewed dark fruits. The long finish carries ginger spice, candied walnuts and dark chocolate.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
