First fill Marsala hogshead
This is a single cask Inchgower, distilled in 2011 and matured for 13 years in a first fill Marsala hogshead. Signatory Vintage bottled it in 2025 for its Cask Strength Collection at 59.8% ABV, and the cask gave 306 bottles. It is not chill-filtered, has no added colour and comes in a metal tin. Dates, figs and honey run through the nose with marzipan, orange peel and a little sea salt. The palate brings dark caramel, raisins and apricots, then almonds, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg with oak. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with fig, orange peel and a faint salty note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
