This is an 8-year-old single cask malt from Inchgower, a Speyside distillery near Buckie on the Moray Firth coast. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023 by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range, at a natural cask strength of 58.8% ABV. Just 249 bottles were produced. It was released as a Cologne Friendship Bottling for Scotia Spirit, and the label carries an illustration of Cologne Cathedral. The bottling celebrates the friendship between Scotland and Cologne.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
