This is an eight-year-old Inchgower from Douglas Laing's Provenance series. It was distilled in September 2007, matured in a single refill hogshead and bottled in November 2015.
The nose is richly aromatic, with floral and herbal notes. The palate combines sugary sweetness with heather honey, melted butter and lively spice. The finish brings back those flavours, with the spice a little more pronounced.
