Inchmurrin 1997 24 Year Old (47.7%)

Inchmurrin is one of the names under which whisky distilled at Loch Lomond is found. This bottle comes from a single ex-bourbon barrel, distilled on 18 February 1997 and bottled in 2021 at 24 years old. It was bottled at 47.7%, and the barrel yielded 147 bottles. The nose opens with juicy orange and dried peel, then camphor develops. On the palate are liquid honey and maple syrup, with buttery shortbread and peaches in syrup. The finish is marked by lingering wood spices and toasted sesame.
