Inchmurrin 2014/2025 11 Year Old 1st Fill Rye Barrel Hart Brothers (70cl, 46%)

This is an eleven-year-old Highland single malt from Inchmurrin, made at the Loch Lomond Distillery and bottled by Hart Brothers as a single cask. It was distilled in January 2014, matured in a first fill rye barrel and bottled in June 2025 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. Inchmurrin is the fruit-led style of the distillery, made with spirit from its straight-neck stills. The rye barrel gives the whisky a pronounced rye spice. The nose combines rye spice with soft vanilla sweetness. The palate is smooth, with creamy vanilla and oak spice. The finish is long and dry, with oak and a light peppery edge.
