This single cask Inchmurrin comes from the Loch Lomond Distillery and is bottled by The Old Friends. It belongs to the Churchill & Roosevelt edition, whose label shows the two statesmen, in the autumn/winter 2026 release.
It was distilled in January 2014 and bottled in August 2026, after twelve years in a first fill Kentucky bourbon barrel. The cask gave 151 bottles at 55.9%, with no chill-filtration and no added colour.
The nose has sweet barley malt, fresh apples, green grapes, a little sage and freshly cut oak. On the palate spice comes forward, balanced by sweet malt, with fruit in the background. The finish is medium in length, gently warming and slightly tannic, with light fruit lingering.
