A 1979 Inverleven bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, a Lowland single malt at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Inverleven was a malt distillery within the Dumbarton grain complex near Glasgow, built in 1938 with two copper pot stills. Most of its spirit went into the Ballantine's blend, and the distillery closed in 1991. Gordon & MacPhail was founded in Elgin in 1895 by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, and is now owned by the Urquhart family.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
