Islay Connection is a blended malt from North Star Spirits, bringing together two Islay whiskies: a 10 year old Bowmore from an ex-bourbon barrel and a 13 year old Bruichladdich from a refill sherry hogshead. It was bottled in 2026 as a limited release.
The Bowmore contributes maritime smoke, a salty breeze and dark fruit, while the Bruichladdich is fresh and fruit-led, setting a clear contrast.
