A 10-year-old whisky bottled by North Star at 50.4%, made up of Islay whisky including Bowmore from a barrel and Bruichladdich from a butt.
The nose has a clear coastal character of salt, sea air and seaweed, with bonfire smoke, ash and glowing embers alongside fresh citrus, malt and honey. On the palate come earthy peat, salted caramel, black pepper and spice, with citrus keeping it fresh. The finish is long, with smoke and sea salt, then clove-like oak spice and a bittersweet note of burnt caramel.
