Isle of Jura – 10 Year Old (1L, 40%)

This is a ten-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura distillery, bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle. Jura lies just north of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, and its distillery is the only whisky producer on the island. Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith founded it in 1962 to make lighter whiskies for blending, and Whyte and Mackay now owns it. The single malt is unpeated and subtle, in contrast to the generally smoky, peaty whiskies of Islay.
