An independent bottling of Isle of Jura from 2012, bottled by James Eadie at 53.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Whisky is said to have been distilled illicitly on Jura as early as 1502. The distillery in its present form dates from 1963, when it was rebuilt on its current site. Its water comes from Bhaile Mhargaidh, and the name Jura is given as meaning island of the red deer.
