Isle of Jura Rum Cask Finish is a single malt from the island distillery, finished in rum casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Whisky is said to have been distilled illicitly on Jura as early as 1502. The distillery in its present form dates from 1963, when it was rebuilt on its current site. Its water comes from the Bhaile Mhargaidh, and the name Jura is usually translated as 'island of deer'.
