Isle of Jura Rum Cask Finish is an unpeated single malt from the Cask Edition series, made for travel retail. It matured first in bourbon barrels and then spent two years in a Caribbean rum cask. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
Exotic fruit, guava and coconut lead the nose, with sugared almonds and apricot. The palate is full and creamy with vanilla and fudge, and a good deal of fruit sweetness from mango, banana and guava. The finish is soft, with lasting cinnamon sweetness.
