Isle of Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch distilled on the Inner Hebridean island of Jura and bottled at 40% ABV. It was part of the Isle of Jura range when the whiskies were relaunched in 2018.
The whisky was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then moved to Oloroso sherry casks for a finishing period.
The nose is nutty barley with white wine, cinnamon and melon. On the palate come chocolate fudge and pear, with peppery malt tucked underneath, and the finish brings sherbet lemons and sultanas.
