J.P. Wiser's 18 Years Old is a Canadian whisky matured for 18 years in bourbon casks and refill casks. The brand was founded in the late 1800s by John Philip Wiser and is described as the oldest Canadian whisky brand. It was sold in bottle from 1893 and was bought by Hiram Walker in 1935. It is made in Windsor, Ontario, and today sits within the Hiram Walker group.
