J. Rose Flamenco Gin (70cl, 43%)

A gin from J. Rose, bottled at 43% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. It is made with nine botanicals, including juniper, bergamot, mandarin peel, prickly pear flowers and oak bark. The juniper leads, wrapped in a warm, slightly pungent aroma, while bergamot and mandarin peel bring freshness and softness. Prickly pear flowers add a fruity note that moves naturally between nose and palate, and oak bark gives a woody note with toasted hints recalling hazelnut and walnut. Clear and transparent, it takes on a silver, slightly veiled brightness with ice and tonic.
