Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old Batch 04 is a special edition Tennessee whiskey, bottled at 48.5% (97 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, the same recipe as Old No. 7. The whiskey matured for a decade in American white oak, in Tennessee warehouses where casks sat in different climate zones. Hot summers and cool winters encouraged close contact with the wood.
The notes are of strong oak, creamy butterscotch toffee, fine cocoa and a faint touch of tobacco.
