This is a ten-year-old Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, released as Batch 5 and bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from a mash of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, filtered through maple charcoal before ageing, then matured for ten years in new American oak casks that are heavily toasted or charred.
Batch 5 was released in 2026. It is sweet and rounded, opening with caramel, brown sugar, vanilla and banana, then moving towards pepper, cinnamon, dark chocolate, walnut, tobacco and oak.
