Jack Daniel's – 10 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 4 (70cl, 48.5%)

This is Batch 4 of Jack Daniel's 10 year old Tennessee whiskey, bottled at 48.5% abv (97 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is the first age-stated release of ten years or more from the distillery in around a century. The barrels aged in the Buzzard's Roost of the barrelhouse and were then moved methodically to the lower floors of different barrelhouses over ten summers. The wide variation in weather between those locations, together with the long time in handmade oak barrels, shapes the whiskey's character.
