Jack Daniel's is a Tennessee whiskey from Lynchburg, bottled at 40% ABV in a 35cl bottle. The new spirit is mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in American oak barrels made by Jack Daniel's itself. Each batch marries 170 barrels from all levels of the barrel houses.
The nose has dry spice, hazelnuts and a touch of smoke. The palate is spicy and aromatic, with hints of banana and dried fruit, and the finish is warming, with peppery spice, toasted oak and caramel.
