Jack Daniel's American Single Malt is a Tennessee single malt whiskey in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 45% ABV. It is matured in new charred American oak and then given a further two years in ex-oloroso sherry casks, which add red fruit character to the Tennessee style.
On the nose there are cherry, oak, honey and molasses with sherried tannins. The palate brings blue grape juice, black cherry and plum jam, then dark chocolate, walnut and vanilla. The finish is long, with pipe smoke, seasoned oak and caramel.
