Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye is a Bottled-in-Bond rye whiskey from the Lynchburg distillery in Tennessee, in a 70cl bottle. Bond standard means it comes from one distillery and one distilling season. The rye-led mash bill is charcoal mellowed, then aged in new American oak for at least four years in a bonded warehouse. It is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
The nose brings ripe stone fruit with cinnamon, ginger, clove and vanilla. The palate balances rye spice with toffee, dried fruit and chocolate, and the finish is warm with black pepper and chilli, softened by caramel sweetness.
