Jack Daniel's – Frank Sinatra Select (1L, 45%)

This is a Tennessee whiskey made to honour Frank Sinatra's 50-year friendship with Jack Daniel's. It is bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 1 litre bottle. The distillery developed proprietary grooved-stave barrels for it. Ridges cut into the inside of the staves expose more charred oak to the maturing spirit, which brings more oak character than Old No. 7 while keeping the charcoal-mellowed style of the house. The nose offers cherries, bananas, raisins and pecans with citrus notes. On the palate are caramel, dark cherries, banana and raisins, with oak, cinnamon and black pepper. The finish is sweet, with banana bread, candied nuts and a velvety texture.
