Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack (75cl, 40%)

Gentleman Jack is a Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It is mellowed twice using the Lincoln County Process: first through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, then filtered through charcoal again after ageing. The expression was inspired by the founder's reputation as a well-mannered Southern gentleman. The nose is soft and warm, with vanilla bean, banana bread, toasted oak and sweet grain. The palate is silky, with caramel, honey, spiced apple and a gentle smokiness, and the finish is smooth and sweet, with toasted nuts and charred maple.
