Jack Daniel's – No 7 Tennessee Whiskey (70cl)

Jack Daniel's No 7 is a Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, where it has been made since 1875. The mash is mostly corn, with some rye and malted barley. Before ageing, the spirit is mellowed through ten feet of sugar-maple charcoal. This Lincoln County Process is what makes it a Tennessee whiskey rather than a bourbon. The nose is light and sweet, with dry spice, oily nuts and a wisp of smoke. Banana, mixed nuts and gentle caramel come through on the palate, and the finish is sweet and cereal-like with toasty oak.
