Jack Daniel's – Old No.7 Black Label (70cl)

Jack Daniel's Old No.7 Black Label is a Tennessee whiskey in a 70cl bottle, also known simply as Old No.7. Before it goes into barrel, the unaged spirit is dripped through sugar maple charcoal, a step known as the Lincoln County process. It matures in the distillery's own barrels, with no fixed age, and is ready when the tasters judge it so. The nose offers gentle caramel, vanilla and butterscotch, with wood and toffee emerging as it opens. The palate is smooth and sweet, with a clear note of liquorice alongside vanilla, toasted oak, fresh coffee, nuts and English toffee. The finish is quick and sweet, with oak and a hint of spice.
