This is Jack Daniel's Old No. 7, a Tennessee whiskey made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. The whiskey is filtered through sugar maple charcoal in the Lincoln County Process, then matured in new toasted American oak casks. In the tasting notes, the nose offers vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, with a hint of ripe banana and soft spice. The palate is soft and balanced, with caramel, vanilla, nuts and a little toasted wood. The finish is medium and warm, with lasting sweet notes, oak and a delicate spiced edge.
