Jack Daniel's Old No.7 is a Tennessee whiskey from Lynchburg, in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV. It is mellowed by dripping through ten feet of tightly packed charcoal, a step known as the Lincoln County Process.
The nose shows caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate the texture is smooth and velvety, with sweet corn, mellowed grains and a touch of charred oak, followed by toffee, butterscotch and a hint of dried fruit.
