Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, from a sour mash recipe, then charcoal mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple before ageing in American oak barrels.
The distillery was founded in 1866.
The nose has toasted oak, banana bread, caramel and soft vanilla. The palate is full and mellow, with charred oak, brown sugar, maple syrup and ripe banana. The finish is medium, with vanilla, light spice and sweet oak.
