Jack Daniel's – Rye

Jack Daniel's Rye is a Tennessee whiskey made from a mash of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. The high rye content gives it more body and a spicy depth. It matures in new, heavily charred oak casks, which bring warm vanilla and caramel. Charcoal filtration by the Lincoln County process gives a soft, balanced taste, and the water comes from Cave Spring Hollow in Lynchburg. The nose is spicy with subtle caramel and vanilla. The palate is rich and layered, with nuts, dried fruit and spice. The finish is long, gently sharp, with spice and light sweetness.
