Jack Daniel's – Scenes of Lynchburg #8 The Charcoal Maker Tennessee Whiskey (2011) (1L, 43%)

This is number 8 in Jack Daniel's Scenes of Lynchburg series, a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 43% in a one litre bottle. The label shows two people looking over the mellowing vats at the Rickyard, where the charcoal for Jack Daniel's is made. Every drop of the whiskey passes through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal in these vats. The series made its US debut in 2003, with a new bottle released each year except 2010. The one litre size is the format used for the series in Europe, where it first appeared in 1998.
