Jack Daniel's – Single Barrel Select Rye Whiskey (70cl, 45%)

This is a rye whiskey from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It uses a new rye recipe, the first for the distillery since prohibition, with a grain bill of 70% rye. Rye has always been part of the grain in Old No. 7, but here it takes the lead. The whiskey is unaged and is described as spicy and surprisingly sweet, with ripe fruit among its flavours.
