Jack Daniel's x McLaren Formula 1 Team Halo MK1 is a 2026 edition Tennessee whiskey in a 100cl bottle at 58.7% ABV (117.4 proof). It is limited to 12,000 bottles and salutes Bruce McLaren's first race car, the number 58 Austin 7.
It was matured in American oak barrels made with staves aged in the open air, which softens the wood's tannins. The grain bill is 80% corn, 8% rye and 12% malted barley. The display case is made from alloy metal, micro-suede and carbon-fibre print, echoing the Halo cockpit protection on McLaren's cars.
The colour is deep amber. The nose is sweet maple with bright fruit and toasted oak, and the palate is caramel, chocolate and charred oak with pipe tobacco, banana and baking spice. The finish leaves barrel spice and brown sugar candy.
