James E. Pepper Decanter Barrel Proof Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

James E. Pepper Decanter is a barrel proof bourbon that recreates a 1945 bottle. It is a blend of the oldest stocks, using mash bills of corn, rye, malted barley and malted rye, with an average age of 5.5 years. It was aged in new charred oak barrels, filled at a lower entry proof, and uses water from the historic distillery well. It is bottled straight from the barrel, uncut and unfiltered. The palate brings toasted oak, walnuts, dried dark fruits and marzipan. The medium-long finish carries creamy vanilla, citrus peel and nutmeg.
