Jameson 18 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

This is an 18 year old Irish whiskey from Jameson, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of three signature distillates, matured in oak for almost two decades. After that long maturation it is given a final marrying period of at least six months in a fresh American oak barrel. The nose offers aromatic oils with a touch of wood and spicy toffee. On the palate it is mellow and smooth, with toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, gentle sherry nuttiness and vanilla. The long finish carries wood, spice and toffee through to the end.
