Jameson is an Irish whiskey distilled in copper pot stills and matured in oak sherry casks. This version comes in a 4.5 litre bottle, supplied on a stand in a gift box. The Jameson story goes back to 1770. Tasting notes describe a light, sweetish palate with gentle oak and some more pronounced notes, followed by a very soft finish.
