A 2023 white Burgundy from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, made by Domaine Jean-Pierre Maldant in Ladoix-Serrigny.
The Maldant family has made wine in the area for five generations, since 1895. They sold their grapes to merchants until 1998, when they began bottling part of their wine themselves. Today the domaine farms 10 hectares in Ladoix, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton.
In the vineyards the work is done by hand, with ploughing in place of herbicides, and the harvest is entirely manual, with the grapes carried to the cellar in small crates.
