Johnnie Walker – Black Label 12 Year Old Sherry Edition (70cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Black Label Sherry Edition is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Part of the blend is matured in former sherry casks, which adds a fruitier side to the Black Label style. The colour is a deep gold. The nose has gentle smoke, nutty notes, vanilla and tea scone, and it changes little with air. The palate is light, with slightly fruity, oily malt and sweetness. The finish is short. The sherry is understated, though enough to soften the smokiness usually linked with Black Label.
