Johnnie Walker Black Label Blade Runner 2049 Director's Cut Limited Edition Blended Scotch Whisky (2017) (75cl, 49%)

This is a limited edition Johnnie Walker Black Label made for the film Blade Runner 2049, in a 75cl bottle. Johnnie Walker master blender Jim Beveridge created it with the film's director, Denis Villeneuve. It combines more than 30 single malt and grain whiskies, blended in the Black Label style with a smokier twist. At 49% ABV it is stronger than standard Black Label, a nod to 2049, the year in which the film is set. The nose offers peat smoke, toffee, caramel, fresh banana and sliced red apple. Fruit on the palate gives way to a peppery attack, and the finish brings bitter fruit, burnt rubber and smoke.
