This is Johnnie Walker Black Label, a blended Scotch whisky in a one litre bottle, presented in a gift box.
The blend is built from several malts. Aberfeldy and Glenlossie contribute apple, Talisker adds spice, Cardhu gives malt and Caol Ila brings peat, while the origin of the honey is unclear. Malt and grain whiskies combine in a single, balanced whole. The 12 year old Black Label was a favourite of Churchill.
The nose is led by peat and honey, followed by malt, apples and warm grain.
