Johnnie Walker Black Label Triple Cask Edition is a blended Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It spent its first ten years in bourbon casks, was finished in rum casks and then matured to completion in refill casks.
The style is lighter, fruity and spicy rather than peaty. The nose offers rich honey, apricot kernel, dried apricot, honeydew, coriander seed, ginger and white pepper. On the palate come citrus, butterscotch, dried and tropical fruit, lively spice and tart orange.
