Johnnie Walker Blue Label California Edition is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. The blend is the usual Blue Label, drawn from rare whiskies, some from distilleries that no longer exist.
What differs is the presentation: the bottle and its gift box are illustrated with California landmarks, including the Hollywood sign and the Golden Gate Bridge, and every bottle is individually numbered.
The palate is rich and velvety, with honey, dark chocolate and dried fruit, and hints of smoke and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with caramel, cocoa, peat and cinnamon.
