Johnnie Walker Blue Label Festive Edition Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

This is the Festive Edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The blend includes malts as old as 60 years, and rare stock from distilleries that have since closed. It comes in the brand's square-sided, blue-green glass bottle, shaped after the original Johnnie Walker bottle of the 1820s and sealed with a cork stopper. The nose is lightly smoked, with ground cereal grains, dried coconut, old leather and polished mahogany. The palate opens with salty smoke and moves to honey, malt, dried fruit, vanilla and liquorice, ending in a long finish of boiled sweet fruit and buttered fruit buns.
