Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich is a Scotch blended whisky bottled at 43.8%, in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Ghost and Rare series. The blend draws on whiskies from eight distilleries. Auchroisk, Cragganmore, Mannochmore, Royal Lochnagar and Strathmill are still working, while Pittyvaich, Carsebridge and Port Dundas have closed. It is named after Pittyvaich, a distillery that operated for only 18 years and is remembered for a distinctly autumnal character. The blend is meant as a tribute to the Speyside distillers.
